IMC Final Statement Condemns Violence against Gaza
The Council of Defense Ministers of the Islamic Military Coalition (IMC) to combat terrorism countries has released a statement following their second meeting in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The meeting held on Saturday condemned the Israeli Violence against Gaza.
His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, hosted the the meeting.
Violence against Gaza
The statement commends the commitment to activating the coalition’s processes to protect the security and stability of member states. The member states also voiced their support for the Minister’s speech. They affirmed the importance of a unified stance in condemning Israeli Violence against Gaza and Palestinian people in the West Bank.
Collaboration and efforts
Furthermore, the ministers reiterated their determination to enhance cooperation, coordinate efforts, and unite against the perils of terrorism. They underscored the significance of collective action to confront all manifestations of terrorism and extremism.
Additionally, they expressed contentment with the progress made by the coalition and affirmed their dedication to continue the fight against terrorism through organized collective action and comprehensive planning.
Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Minister of Defense, added that the mission is huge and the aspirations are great. It requires concerted efforts, integration, and cooperation.
Towards the end of his speech, the Minister of Defense declared that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would contribute 100 million riyals to the Islamic Alliance Initiatives Fund. In addition, the fund would support 46 training programs that fall under the four areas of work that the coalition works on: “intellectual, media, military, and combating the financing of terrorism.
