Two Earthquakes Hit Parts of Ethiopia Last Night

Two earthquakes struck regions of Ethiopia last night. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the first earthquake had a magnitude of 4.9 and occurred 23 kilometers north of Awash at a depth of 10 kilometers.

About 10 minutes later, a second earthquake measuring 4.6 magnitude struck near Metahara, also at a depth of 10 kilometers.
So far, there have been no reports of damage or casualties.
