
An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale struck the Gulf of Aqaba, northeast of Sharm El Sheikh.

The Egyptian National Seismological Network, part of the National Institute for Astronomical and Geophysical Research, reported that the earthquake occurred 111 km north of Sharm El Sheikh at 10:05 PM local time.
There were no reports of civilian injuries or damage to property.
