The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has signed a joint executive program with a civil-society organization to assist 2023 earthquake victims in Syria, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Signed via video conference, the program aims basically to provide 300 temporary housing units for the victims in several camps in the Jandairis area of Aleppo, Syria.
The agreement was signed by KSrelief Assistant Supervisor General for Operations and Programs Eng. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz to benefit 300 families, totaling 1,330 individuals.
According to the agreement, 300 temporary housing units will replace the current fabric tents. Moreover, each unit will consist of two rooms, a hall, a kitchen and a bathroom with an area of 30 square meters.
The program also includes the installation of 300 solar energy systems, 300 water tanks with a capacity of 500 liters, and a sewage network.
The project is part of KSrelief’s humanitarian efforts to alleviate the suffering of refugees and displaced people around the world.
