Tuwaiq Academy has on Saturday announced a new partnership with Meta to launch the first diploma in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI), reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The diploma will start in December 2024 and last for nine months. It is accredited by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation. Tuwaiq Academy has opened registration for the diploma on its official website.

The diploma aims to develop world-class national talent and meet the need for senior positions across various sectors.
Moreover, the diploma pays great attention to developing the practical and applied skills of the trainees, within a competitive learning environment, based on the labor market needs.
It also focuses on key areas, including machine learning, data analysis using Python and Tableau, AI-based system development, and big data management to create innovative technological solutions that benefit all segments of society.
Tuwaiq, Meta Partnership
In the light of this, the CEO of Tuwaiq Academy, Abdulaziz Al-Hamadi, said that the launching of the Data Science and AI Diploma underscores the Academy’s commitment to providing a range of educational tracks, including diverse professional boot camps and programs.
He added that the Academy has recently launched more than 160 new boot camps and programs in several technological areas.
On the occasion of launching the diploma, the Head of Policy Programs for Africa, Middle East and Turkiye at Meta, Joelle Awwad, praised the partnership with Tuwaiq Academy. She noted that this partnership aims to hone the skills of the Saudi youth to support creativity and innovation in all fields.
Tuwaiq Academy is the first to provide professional boot camps and programs that benefit over 1,000 trainees daily. The Academy offers these programs in partnership with major global organizations, such as Meta, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and Alibaba to bridge the gap between recent technological advancements and labor market needs.
