Turkish Ambassador Highlights Strong Ankara-Riyadh Ties

The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh, received the Ambassador of Turkey to the Kingdom, Dr. Emrullah İşler, in his office at the Ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh today, Monday.

During the meeting, friendly conversations were exchanged, and a number of topics of mutual interest were discussed, particularly those related to Islamic affairs. The discussion also included the signing of a memorandum of understanding and cooperation between the two brotherly countries.

Following the meeting, Turkey’s Ambassador Dr. Emrullah İşler emphasized the strength and depth of the relations between the two brotherly countries and the strong will on both sides to develop these relations through high-level mutual visits.

He highlighted the importance of overcoming the challenges in a region undergoing significant developments, which necessitate genuine cooperation and solidarity between the two countries. He also expressed his wishes for growth, prosperity, and progress for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and for enhanced cooperation in economic and industrial fields.

The Turkish ambassador expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Sheikh for his sincere sentiments and clear vision regarding strengthening cooperation in Islamic fields between the Kingdom and Turkey.

Finally, memorandum of understanding will be signed between the two countries to serve Muslims and foster fruitful cooperation.
