Taif Investment Forum to Start on Sunday
The Taif Investment Forum is scheduled to be launched on Sunday under the slogan “Invest in Taif”.
Representatives from Chinese and Korean companies, businessmen and those interested in the field of investment will take part in the event, in addition to a number of officials from government and private bodies in the Kingdom.
The forum aims to support the Saudi Taif Governorate, and highlight the potential for investment in it, as a promising economic destination and a fertile environment for investment projects in various sectors.
This paves the way to place the governorate on the map of global investment destinations, under the patronage of Prince Saud bin Nahar, Governor of Taif.
Topics Discussed During Forum
During dialogue sessions, the Taif forum will discuss several topics, including: the challenges of clean energy projects, anticipation of the future of mining in Taif, the sustainability of food security in the governorate. It will also review the future of the Taif rose, the quality of life and humanization of cities, investment in the sports, entertainment and technology sectors, and the importance of Taif in receiving pilgrims and Umrah performers.
Workshops and Exhibitions
A number of workshops will also be held on the role of women as a development partner. It will further tackle the role of scientific research in technology, and vocational education in light of “Saudi Vision 2030”. The forum will include an accompanying exhibition in which a number of local and international companies and entities will participate.
Suad Bint Musa Al-Mousa Take on the Taif Forum
“The forum comes to emphasize the importance of developing the investment sector in the Taif to achieve the goals of “Saudi Vision 2030”, which seeks to enhance opportunities for economic sustainability in all regions of the Kingdom,” explained Suad bint Musa Al-Mousa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tuwaiq Cooperative Society for Exhibitions and Conferences, in a press statement on Saturday.
Al-Mousa indicated that the forum is the first of its kind in the Taif governorate, and will witness the signing ceremony of investment agreements between local and international parties.
