Al Hilal Misses Sergej in Match Against Mumbai City FC
Al Hilal Saudi Club announced that its Serbian player Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has been injured, and that he will not participate in the team’s match against the Indian club Mumbai City FC.

The Saudi club explained in an official statement that Serbian player Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is suffering from a knee injury. As a result of this injury, he will not be able to participate in the team’s next match against the Indian club Mumbai City FC in the fourth round of the AFC Champions League.
Accordingly, Al Hilal Club will miss the player’s services in the next match, which will be held on Monday evening. His chance to participate in this match due to the injury is very small.
It is noteworthy that Sergej Milinković-Savic was chosen as the best player in the Saudi Roshen League last October. He received this award due to his outstanding performance during this month, as he scored three goals in three matches, beating his competitors, including Al-Nasr’s Anderson Talisca.

Milinković-Savić is a professional footballer from Serbia who serves as a midfielder for the Saudi Pro League team Al Hilal. Saudi club Al Hilal confirmed the acquisition of Milinković-Savić on 12 July 2023, securing a three-year contract with him for approximately €40 million.
