The Noble Prophet’s Mosque restores Zamzam jerry cans after lifting them for one year & half

To assist the worshipers, Noble Prophet’s Mosque affairs department has returned Zamzam water containers to their original locations.

Random samples of Zamzam water from various sites are analyzed by the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque to guarantee that it is clean and free of impurities.

Abdul Rahman Al-Zahrani, Director of the Zamzam Watering Department, emphasized that the Zamzam laboratory is critical to preserving the quality and safety of Zamzam water.

He added that it is a special department equipped with the highest technologies and equipment, and a specialized technical staff that takes random samples daily from cylinders and smart vehicles.

Sampling of Zamzam

Samples are taken from any source of the blessed Zamzam water inside the Haram as follows:

1- Sterilize the sampling area with alcohol before taking the sample.

2- Professionally taking the sample to preserve it from external pollutants.

3- Put the sample in the container designated for it until it reaches the laboratory to preserve it.

Such tests, according to Al-Zahrani, are carried out to assure the safety of the Zamzam water network, that it is free of microorganisms and contaminants, and that the blessed water reaches visitors and pilgrims in a pure and healthy state.
