Tawakkalna “app” is a mandatory condition for boarding Saudi flights
The General Authority of Civil Aviation in Saudi Arabia confirmed that the “Tawakalna” application will be relied upon to allow passengers to enter domestic and international airports.
The authority stated in a circular to the national air carriers that it is working with the “Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence” and the relevant authorities to link electronically between the “Tawakolna” application and the process of issuing a boarding pass for the traveler before heading to the airport.
It stressed that the case will be examined in “Tawakolna” at 3 airport screening areas. The first zone will be at the entrances to the airports, where the status will be examined in the application for workers, travelers, employees, and all airport visitors.
The status will also be confirmed in “Tawakolna” at the check-in area and the issuance of the boarding pass, and at the aircraft entry area.
The authority stated that this comes in the implementation of the precautionary measures and preventive measures related to the Corona pandemic, which were recommended by the relevant committees at airports and its facilities.
