The Motawifs Pilgrims for Southeast Asian Countries Company (Mashariq) has welcomed a group of 305 Sudanese pilgrims who arrived at Mecca yesterday to perform Hajj 2024, reported Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Saudi Arabia will welcome 8,000 Sudanese pilgrims who registered to perform the fifth pillar of Islam this year.
Mashariq has collaborated with Saudi Arabia to facilitate all Hajj procedures and provide pilgrims with smooth journey and seamless services.
The Sudanese pilgrims expressed their sincere gratitude to the Kingdom for their warm welcome and smooth procedures.
Moreover, they deeply thanked the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for helping the Sudanese perform Hajj this year despite of the current circumstances that Sudan is going through.
Jeddah Islamic Port safely received the first ship of Sudanese pilgrims one week ago.
The port provided a vast array of logistic services designed to facilitate the arrival and departure procedures for pilgrims.
Furthermore, the Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) ensured the easy arrival of various goods to local markets during the Hajj season 2024.
It is noteworthy that the Saudi government and private sector agencies collaborated together in the operational plans to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of the pilgrims in and around Mecca.
