
The President of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, Dr. Jalal Al-Owaisi, officially launched the Authority’s 2028 Strategy during a ceremony attended by senior leaders and staff members.
The strategy signals a new phase of transformation and institutional growth. It aims to strengthen ambulance system readiness, elevate service quality, and align operations with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. Additionally, it focuses on enhancing response capabilities and ensuring efficient, community-centered services.
Built on four key pillars, the strategy’s first pillar emphasizes the delivery of standardized, high-quality emergency medical services. This includes expanding ambulance coverage, reducing response times, and improving outcomes for critical cases.
The second pillar prioritizes sustainability and diversified funding streams. It seeks to increase operational efficiency and broaden support channels to ensure the continued advancement and resilience of ambulance services.

The launch event also highlighted the Authority’s history and major accomplishments. A comprehensive presentation detailed the strategy’s pillars and long-term objectives, underscoring the Authority’s commitment to strengthening emergency medical services and reinforcing its essential role in serving the community.
