Saudi stock market reaches its highest level since mid-2006
In today’s session, Tuesday, the Saudi stock market continues to hit new highs, breaking previous highs.
The main market index “TASI,” increased by 0.35 percent, at 46.72 points, reaching 13,212.06 points, which is the highest level since June 2006.
Meanwhile, the value of trading on the main market reached SAR 6.42 billion, with 111.17 million shares changing hands.
Out of a total of 215 listed shares, 64 saw a price increase, while 142 saw a decline.
The “AMAC” share, which rose 9.87 percent to 102.4 riyals, outperformed the trading value of around SAR 584.27 million .
The ACWA Power share rose 9.72 percent to 173.8 riyals, with a trading value of SAR 345.38 million.
The Saudi Cables stock dropped the most, by 4.98 percent, to SAR 18.68 .
In March 2022, the main index “TASI” climbed 3.97 percent to 13090.4 points. “TASI” grew by 16.03 percent in the first quarter of 2022.
