SAUDI SPORTS MINISTER ATTENDS A GLOBAL FORUM ON DIALOGUE AND DEVELOPMENT

His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports, participated in the opening of The World Youth Forum, which was held yesterday in Sharm El-Sheikh, Arab Republic of Egypt, under the patronage of His Excellency King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense – may God preserve them.

The World Youth Forum brings together young people to foster discussion and address development challenges. It is held from January 10 to 13, 2022, with young people from 196 nations taking part under the theme “Back Together.”

Objectives of the World Youth Forum

The forum’s goal is to bring together the world’s young to foster discussion and address development concerns, as well as to convey a message of peace and prosperity from Egypt to the rest of the globe. The three previous iterations of the World Youth Forum in Egypt have been accepted as an international venue for debating youth issues by the UN Commission for Social Development.

The Forum’s administration published the agenda for the fourth edition, which covers a variety of critical themes and subjects reflecting the characteristics of the new reality following the Corona (Covid-19) epidemic, which touched the lives of millions in nations across the world.

Other topics on the forum’s program include discussions on the future of energy, sustainable water security, global peace and security, and post-conflict rehabilitation. The event also focuses on preserving human values via discussions on art and creativity, as well as on creating a safe and inclusive environment for women.
