The Saudi Pro League (SPL) is making a strategic major push into Brazil, focusing on boosting engagement with passionate Brazilian football fans. The SPL aims to strengthen its global influence as it recognizes Brazil’s rich football culture, with the promise of exciting new opportunities.
The enduring relationship between Saudi football and Brazilian talent spans over half a century. Currently, 26 Brazilian players compete in the SPL which is more than any other international contingent. Furthermore, over 100 SPL matches streamed on YouTube in Brazil, with Canal GOAT and Band broadcast these matches. The league garnered 50 million views during the 2023-24 season, demonstrating a strong existing interest.

SPL executives are currently visiting Brazil with the aim to meet key figures in Brazilian football, including representatives from the Brazilian League. Additionally, they are engaging with the Brazilian Football Confederation, football clubs as well as leading sports marketing agencies. The SPL seeks to build valuable partnerships to drive growth.
