The meeting, chaired by Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Finance, Mohammed Al-Jadaan, featured a Nigerian delegation led by Finance Minister Wale Edun and Budget and Economic Planning Minister Abubakar Atiku Bagudu.

Trade relations between the two nations remain imbalanced, with Nigeria exporting $76.29 million worth of goods to Saudi Arabia in 2023, compared to $1.51 billion in imports from the Kingdom, as reported by the UN COMTRADE database.
