Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah holds a meeting with Egyptian Interior Minister
The Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, held a meeting yesterday in Cairo with the Minister of Interior of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Major General Mahmoud Tawfiq.
This meeting is part of the official visit of Dr. Tawfiq to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
During the meeting, aspects of cooperation between the two sides in several fields were reviewed to facilitate the procedures for the arrival of Egyptian pilgrims to perform their rituals easily.
The Minister explained that the visit comes within the directives of King Salman and his brother President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, and within the continuous efforts between the two countries to facilitate the performance of Umrah rituals and the visit with peace and ease.
He drew attention to the various facilities offered by the concerned authorities in the Kingdom to receive pilgrims from all over the world.
For his part, Major General Mahmoud Tawfiq welcomed the visit of the Minister of Hajj and Umrah and his accompanying delegation, noting the close historical relations between the two brotherly countries.
He expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to serve the pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors and to provide them with all aspects of care.
