Saudi Interior Minister stands on the readiness of Hajj security

The Saudi Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, confirmed the readiness of the Hajj security forces to carry out their tasks in maintaining the security and safety of pilgrims.

This came during his sponsorship of the ceremony organized by the Hajj security forces participating in the Hajj season this year 1443 AH.

The Director of Public Security and Head of the Hajj Security Committee, Lieutenant-General Muhammad Al-Basami, stressed during the ceremony the readiness of the security forces to perform their duties to maintain the security and safety of pilgrims and facilitate their performance of rituals.

He also explained that the forces began their duties in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, the holy sites, and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, and in all ports, and on all roads leading to the Hajj areas, aware of the great responsibility in performing their national duty and responsibilities, in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and his Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, under the direct supervision of the Minister of Interior.

Al-Bassami said: “The Hajj security forces are ready with all their trained human energies and modern technical capabilities to serve the pilgrims and to confront what may disturb the peace of the pilgrims, and they will be dealt with the utmost firmness and force in a way that ensures the pilgrims perform their rituals away from all influences and slogans that have no place in these holy places”.

After that, the Hajj security forces reviewed some security hypotheses that demonstrated the high professionalism of the security men, as well as the vehicles, special armored vehicles, and security aviation before the Minister of Interior.

The ceremony was attended by Prince Saud bin Khalid Al-Faisal, Deputy Governor of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah region, many princes and ministers, members of the Supreme Hajj Committee, members of the Central Hajj Committee, leaders of the security sectors, and several senior officials.
