The Saudi General Authority for Audio-Visual Media has notified that preventative measures in cinemas have been reinstated.
According to the current state of the Kingdom’s epidemiological condition, it has decided to decrease the capacity of cinema halls by half starting today.
It stated in a statement that cinemas will be required to cut the hall’s capacity by 50% and leave an empty seat between every two seats, as well as prescribing a maximum of 5 individuals per group.
“Audio-Visual Media” instructed cinemas to begin accepting requests for ticket recovery from people who wanted to do so.
In light of the current epidemiological scenario, the Ministry of Interior decided yesterday to recommit to wearing the muzzle in closed and open locations throughout the Kingdom.
