Saudi GEA’s BigTime Creative Shop Secures 1st Emmy Award in Mideast, Africa, Asia
The creative partner of Riyadh Season, BigTime Creative Shop, has secured the first Emmy Award in the Middle East, Africa and Asia, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The Chairman of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA), Turki Al Al-Sheikh, announced on Saturday that the BigTime Creative Shop won in the Outstanding Promotional Announcement category at the 46th Sports Emmy Awards, organized by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
On this occasion, Al Al-Sheikh emphasized that the achievement is the result of the dedicated efforts of a Saudi team led by young talents who have succeeded in gaining global recognition.
Moreover, the GEA Chairman noted that the true value of these awards lies in the positive impact on audiences and their satisfaction with the projects and ideas presented, stressing that the audiences’ pleasure and appreciation are the ultimate goal.
The winning project, the promotional video of “Usyk Vs Fury Reignited,” received praise from the jury for showcasing creative and impactful excellence, underscoring Saudi Arabia’s ability to compete in the most prestigious global awards.
Furthermore, this award is a remarkable milestone highlighting the growing status of the Kingdom’s entertainment sector and solidifying Riyadh Season’s role in supporting national talents and establishing their global presence through unprecedented accomplishments.
