The Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, has held separate meetings with his Spanish and French counterparts, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The meetings were held on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2025, taking place in Davos, Switzerland, from January 20-24, 2025.
On Wednesday, Prince Faisal met with the Foreign Minister of Spain, José Manuel Albares. During their meeting, both officials reviewed relations between Saudi Arabia and Spain and explored ways to further strengthen them across various sectors.
Moreover, they discussed the latest regional and international developments.
Also on Wednesday, the Saudi Foreign Minister met with the French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Jean-Noël Barrot. During their meeting, the two ministers explored the bilateral relations.
Furthermore, they discussed the latest regional developments and efforts made towards achieving security and stability in the region.
The Assistant Director-General at the Office of the Foreign Minister, Waleed Al-Ismail, and the Chargé d’Affaires of the Saudi Embassy in Bern, Dawood Al-Mosahar, attended both meetings.
Prince Faisal bin Farhan is leading Saudi Arabia’s delegation at the WEF Annual Meeting 2025. The Kingdom’s participation aims to foster collaboration with leaders from governments, the private sector, civil society and academia to address the pressing global challenges and pave the way for a more prosperous future.
Furthermore, the Saudi delegation is exploring opportunities to advance innovation, unlock human potential, and drive sustainable transition. It is also focusing on sharing experiences from the Kingdom’s transformation journey under Vision 2030, and fostering global dialogue.
