Saudi Defense Ministry to Organize Leadership Forum for Non-Commissioned Officers
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense will organize a leadership forum for non-commissioned officers in Riyadh later this November, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Set to take place from November 18-19, the forum will stress the pivotal role of the non-commissioned officers and foster the process of sharing the best practices about leadership empowerment.
Themed “Development and Empowerment,” the event will provide a valuable platform to share experiences and success stories with military counterparts both within and outside the Kingdom.
In the light of this, the event has set several objectives, as follows:
- Raising awareness of the importance of the roles of non-commissioned officers
- Underscoring the common concepts in empowering non-commissioned officers
- Forming a promising generation that effectively fulfill the vision and strategic objectives of the Ministry of Defense
- Showcasing a model for continuous development and growth in the Ministry
Organized by NCOs from the Ministry of Defense and overseen by the Chief of the General Staff Lt. Gen. Fayyadh bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, the forum will tackle various discussions on Empowering leaders.
Moreover, they will shed light on how to empower women in the Ministry of Defense in line of Saudi Vision 2030.
Through other important sessions, the forum will discuss the impactful role of the creative leadership on institutional performance.
In addition, the event will focus on the methodologies of creating promising leaders to achieve the desired strategies.
Crucially, the participants will include officers from the ministry, other military branches and allied nations.
The forum will also feature lectures and an accompanying exhibition displaying the ministry’s development program for leadership roles of non-commissioned officers. Moreover, it will highlight its I’tizaz and Together programs.
