Saudi Defense Minister holds talks with his British counterpart
Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman received a phone call (Wednesday) from British Defense Minister Ben Wallace.
During the call, they reviewed the strategic relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UK and discussed bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries in the military and defense fields, and ways to enhance it, in addition to discussing developments in regional and international events, and the efforts made towards them.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and British Defense Minister bin Wallace reviewed “by phone” the strategic relations between the two countries.
According to the agency, the Saudi Defense Minister met his Yemeni counterpart, Lieutenant-General Mohsen Muhammad al-Daari, and they discussed cooperation between the two countries.
The two sides also touched on the efforts of the UN to extend the armistice, to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people, in addition to discussing future steps to deal with potential changes.
Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz affirmed the continuation of the coalition led by the Kingdom to support the Yemeni government and people, advance efforts to end the Yemeni crisis and meet the aspirations of Yemenis for peace and stability.
