The company “Saudi Cruise,” has announced the appointment of “Jörg Rudolf” as the President of “Arwa Cruise” for tourism maritime trips, according to SABQ Online Newspaper.

Jörg Rudolf’s Experience

Jörg Rudolf brings over 31 years of experience to the role, with 19 years in the global tourism maritime sector. Before joining the “Saudi Cruise” team, he held the position of General Manager at “Costa Costa” cruise company in Germany.

He also held various senior management positions in leading tourism maritime companies, including “TUI Cruises,” “AIDA Cruises,” “Carnival,” and “Royal Caribbean International.” This extensive experience makes him the ideal candidate to lead “Arwa Cruise,” a subsidiary of “Saudi Cruise.”

Responsibilities of Jörg Rudolf

Furthermore, Jörg Rudolf will oversee the 2024 commercial launch of “Arwa Cruise,” the first cruise line for the Arab community. His duties encompass the comprehensive management of all tourism operations, including sales, route planning,  customer services, and business growth strategies.

Lars Classen, the CEO of “Saudi Cruise,” stated, “Saudi Cruise has witnessed rapid growth in recent years, and the appointment of Jörg Rudolf as President of Arwa Cruise represents a new phase in the company’s journey towards delivering exceptional services that meet the highest quality standards.

“I look forward to working with Jörg as we move towards the eagerly anticipated launch of Arwa Cruise,” he said.

Company’s Expansion Efforts

This announcement is part of “Saudi Cruise’s” efforts to expand its services and offerings in the region.

In June 2023, the company announced the launching of its first cruise line, “Arwa Cruise,” with a unique design aimed at showcasing authentic Arab experiences and hospitality. “Saudi Cruise” aims to receive 1.3 million tourists by 2035.
