Saudi Crown Prince appreciates Macron’s support for the stability of the region

Saudi Crown Prince, HRH Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz urged French President Emmanuel Macron in a phone call on Saturday, , to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries within the framework of their strategic partnership.

The Saudi crown prince also praised the French president for his country’s support for security and stability in the region and its rejection of threats to regional stability.

They reviewed the most prominent regional and international issues and developments, and the efforts made toward them to enhance security and stability, according to what was reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Also, during the call, views were exchanged on some issues of common interest.

For his part, the Elysee announced that French President Emmanuel Macron called Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, today, Saturday, and discussed the dangers that threaten the stability of the region.

The French President and the Saudi Crown Prince also expressed their desire to strengthen the strategic partnership linking the two countries.

The two sides discussed bilateral relations between France and Saudi Arabia and expressed their desire to strengthen economic relations between the two countries, especially in the field of energy.

Moreover, both parties focused in particular on Lebanon, and the French President stressed the need to elect a president as soon as possible to implement the program of structural reforms necessary for the advancement of this country.

It was also agreed with the Saudi Crown Prince to continue and enhance their cooperation to meet the humanitarian needs of the people of Lebanon.
