Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce has announced the recall of 18,708 vehicles, including the Toyota Land Cruiser and Lexus LX600 from the 2025–2026 model years, due to a defect in the automatic transmission’s shift valves, according to the Saudi Gazette.
The defect may cause excessive engine revving, heightening the risk of accidents or potential fire.
The ministry advised vehicle owners to check their vehicle identification number (VIN) through the Defective Products Recall Center website Recalls.sa.
It also urged them to contact the authorized dealer, Abdul Latif Jameel, to arrange free repairs.
Toyota customers can call 8004400055, while Lexus owners may reach out via 8001220022.
The ministry also noted that citizens can follow all recall campaigns for defective goods and products through the Recalls.sa.
