Saudi Cabinet: The Kingdom is to achieve global leadership in clean energy

The Saudi Cabinet announced that the Kingdom is continuing its path towards achieving global leadership in all forms of clean energy, which is an integral part of its potential in the fields of oil and gas. This came during its session held today under the chairmanship of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques presided over the cabinet session that was held at Al-Yamam Palace in Jeddah, where the council reviewed all the talks and meetings that took place between officials in the Kingdom and their counterparts in a number of countries in the past days to push relationships to advanced levels.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques briefed the Council of Ministers on the content of the message he received from His Highness the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait related to the bilateral relations that bind the two countries, and ways to support and enhance them in various fields.
Signing 60 agreements and memorandums of understanding
The Saudi Cabinet praised what was included in the Future Minerals Forum held in Riyadh; from the signing of 60 agreements and memorandums of understanding, discussions on the future of the mining sector, ways to enhance sustainability systems, and increase the region’s contribution to the value and supply chains of strategic minerals.

The Council welcomed the outcomes of the ministerial meeting of the Follow-up and Political Consultation Committee between the Kingdom and Egypt, and what it reflected in the keenness to enhance the horizons of bilateral cooperation and the affirmation of continued coordination between the two countries to face challenges in the region, in light of their pivotal status and responsibilities towards its security and stability.
