Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tunisian Minister of Economy and Planning Samir Abdel Hafiz to boost Saudi-Tunisian direct investment.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the MoU aims basically to foster bilateral cooperation and exchange systems and regulations of the investment environment and its developments.
Furthermore, the agreement emphasizes both countries’ commitment to bolstering economic ties and offering various opportunities for sustainable growth and development.
The Signing ceremony highlighted the attendance of Saudi Ambassador to Tunisia Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ali Al-Saqr.
Crucially, the MoU is an integral part of Al-Falih’s official visit to Tunisia to support the economic and investment relations between both countries.
Upon his arrival, Falih met with the Tunisian President Kais Saied at the Carthage Presidential Palace.
During the meeting, President Saied expressed his gratitude to the growing Saudi-Tunisian ties, stressing the significance of the current agreement in supporting mutual investments.
In the light of this, the partnership marks an important step in strengthening collaborative development initiatives between Saudi Arabia and Tunisia.
