Saudi Arabia Launches ‘Cultural Innovation Challenge’ for Policies Design

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Culture has launched the “Cultural Innovation Challenge (POLICYTHON),” to engage people in a policy design hackathon, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

The hackathon will bring together various national talents and international experts from all over the world.

Under the auspicious of Minister of Culture Prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Farhan, the “Cultural Innovation Challenge,” significantly focuses on elevating the design skills of cultural policies.

Therefore, it will make a real difference in fostering the growth of Saudi cultural sector and achieving comprehensive and sustainable development.

With a special focus on introducing solutions and policies, the hackathon targets innovators, entrepreneurs, academic researchers, public policy professionals, university students, the cultural public, government employees, and other relevant groups.

Interestingly, the ministry has dedicated a total prize pool surpassing SAR500,000 for the winners.
