Saudi Arabia detects the first infection with the “Omicron” mutant
The Saudi Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday that a citizen from a North African country had been infected with the Omicron mutant of the Coronavirus in the Kingdom.
The appropriate precautions have been taken, the sick person and his contacts have been isolated, and the approved health procedures have been completed, according to a ministry source.
He emphasized the importance of all members of society completing vaccine doses as quickly as possible and adhering to all preventative, preventive, and permitted protocols.
He also stressed the importance of persons returning from travel according to the quarantine and laboratory inspection procedures for their own and everyone’s safety.

Fahd Al-Jalajil, the Saudi Minister of Health, acknowledged Tuesday that the Kingdom is closely monitoring developments throughout the world in the face of the Coronavirus and its variants.
“We boost the preparation at all levels to combat Corona and its adaptations,” Al-Jalajil said, urging everyone to protect themselves by becoming immunized and following the preventive steps.
