Saudi Arabia closes registration for domestic pilgrims

Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced on Sunday that domestic pilgrim registration has closed and that the names of applicants for this year’s Hajj will be announced today.

According to the government, the number of candidates for Hajj from within Saudi Arabia has surpassed 390,000.

The ministry added that candidates will be chosen through an automated lottery, with precedence given to those who have never undertaken Hajj before.

Domestic pilgrims can register through the “Umrahna” application or the ministry’s website: localhaj.haj.gov.sa, which was launched in early June.

The ministry emphasized that anyone wishing to register for Hajj from within the country, whether a resident or a citizen, must be at least 65 years old and have completed the “Tawakulna” application.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah also announced the launch of three packages for this year’s Hajj season, with the following names:

The first is, “Al-Abraaj Package” which is priced at 14737.83 riyals per pilgrim before adding value-added tax.

The second package is the “Developed Camps Package” and its price is 13043.99 riyals per pilgrim before adding tax.

the third package is the “undeveloped camping package” and its price is 10,238.57 riyals per pilgrim before adding tax.
