Saudi Arabia allows pilgrims to bring kids to the Grand Mosque in Mecca

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah stated on Saturday that visitors of all ages are welcome to bring their kids to the Grand Mosque in Mecca.

The ministry announced via a post on its “Twitter” account that pilgrims are not needed to obtain their permits to accompany youngsters under the age of five.

Meanwhile, parents of children over the age of five must obtain a permit through the “Umrahna” application, according to the ministry.

The Ministry gave the good news to its guests of Rahman in an explanatory infographic that it published on its Twitter account

The text of the infographic stated, “For your children under 5 years of age, you can take them with you without the need to obtain a special permit for them.”
