Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan received a phone call from US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, during which they discussed files of common interest, most notably developments in Gaza and Sudan.
A statement published by the Saudi Foreign Ministry on its account on the “X” platform said: “Today, Thursday, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a phone call from His Excellency the Secretary of State of the United States of America, Mr. Anthony Blinken.”
The statement added: “During the call, developments on the regional scene and ways to reduce the escalation in the region were reviewed, in addition to discussing files of common interest, most notably Sudan, developments in the Gaza Strip and its environs, as well as the importance of introducing more humanitarian aid to the Strip.”
