“SAR Transportation” Wins the International Safety Award in 2020

A couple of days ago, Saudi Railways Company “SAR” won the International Safety Award for the year 2020 for the second time in a row, presented by the British Safety Council.

The Board granted the award to “SAR” for its application of the highest standards and strategies of safety in the workplace, and its commitment to preserving the health and safety of its customers and employees from risks and injuries and to significantly reduce the occurrence of accidents.

Transport Minister, Saleh Al-Jasser, expressed the ministry’s pride that the company received the award for the second time in a row, adding that this reflects a joyful commitment to professional and humanitarian values ​​to reduce injuries and deaths in accordance with the highest international safety standards.

For his part, the CEO of the company, Bashar Al Malik, affirmed that “SAR” attaches the culture of safety as a top priority in managing, operating, and maintaining its trains, by following global laws that have proven effective in maintaining safety in an environment of the work.
