Riyadh Governor Launches The e-Paramedic Program

The Governor of Riyadh, Prince Faisal bin Bandar, has launched the eParamedic “electronic medic” system of the Red Crescent in Riyadh, which aims to reduce the response time through the incoming reports to the operating rooms.

This came in his office at Al Hakam Palace, in the presence of the President of the Red Crescent Authority, Dr. Muhammad Al-Qasim, and the General Director of the Authority’s branch in Riyadh, Dr. Ahmed Al-Khuraisi
Al-Qasim explained that the program is one of the advanced electronic systems and one of the components of the operations system of the administration and the field ambulance medical services of the authority, and among the advantages of the program is to see the readiness of the ambulance teams, receive new communications, accept or cancel them, and draw the best paths for the communication site.

He stated that the program allows choosing the most appropriate medical facility for the emergency case and charting the best path for rapid access to the facility with voice guidance after the case begins, recording data and electronic emergency reports, as it is part of the National Transformation Program 2020 initiatives that aim to raise the quality of emergency services in all regions at the kingdom.
