“Sanad” Association Launches its Annual Blood Donation

The “Sanad” Association for Supporting Cancer Patients launched their annual February campaign under the slogan “Their Metal is Gold” to donate blood to children with cancer, in the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Adela bint Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Chairperson of the Society’s Board of Directors, at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center In Riyadh.

Her Highness Princess Adela emphasized that the goal of the campaign is to secure the necessary blood for children and patients. The campaign is held annually in cooperation with the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center. She praised those who contributed and provided their support for the success of the campaign.

The campaign aims to create a supportive environment, and to efficiently and effectively recruit support resources to mitigate the psychological and social impacts on children with cancer and their families.

 It also contributes to achieving social responsibility and solidarity between various sectors and the Sanad Association. Furthermore, the campaign includes blood donation campaigns, and awareness about childhood cancer.

The world celebrates the International Child Cancer Day on February 15th to tackle this disease and raise awareness about it.
