Royal Institute of Traditional Arts Launches “Wrth Summer” Program for Children
The Royal Institute of Traditional Arts (Wrth) has launched the fourth edition of its Wrth Summer event in Riyadh, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Held from August 20 to 22, the three-day program aimed at providing children with an outstanding educational experience, introducing them to traditional Saudi arts through a series of interactive workshops.

In cooperation with the House of Culture, the event seeks to enrich children’s knowledge, develop their abilities, and offer them with practical skills linked to Saudi cultural identity.
Interestingly, the event featured engaging educational programs tailored to their ages and workshops on pottery making, Najdi door weaving, as well as the traditional “Sadu” rug-making technique.

The event comes as part of Wrth’s efforts to boost the role of traditional arts in society and pass them on to younger generations through educational and interactive programs, helping preserve Saudi heritage and strengthen its cultural values.
