Royal Commission for AlUla Opens Said Al Abd Aldaem Mosque

The Royal Commission for AlUla opens Sheikh Saeed Abdul Daem Mosque in AlUla after restoring it and improving its facilities, reported Saudi Projects on X.

Besides Saeed Abdul Daem Mosque, the Commission continues to revive, develop, and open a number of mosques and prayer spaces to serve the residents and visitors of AlUla.

Historical Mosques in Saudi Arabia

One of the most famous mosques in Medina is Al-Masjid an-Nabawi. Another mosque is the Quba Mosque; it is the first mosque to be built in Islam. The Masjid al-Qiblatain is another significant mosque in Medina. It has unique architectural design and historical importance.

This mosque became an important edifice when Allah revealed to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to change (Qibla-direction towards the Kaabah) from Jerusalem to Mecca.

Additionally, another name for Al-Ghamama Mosque is the Mosque of the Clouds. The name came from an event when a cloud provided shade for Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The head of religious affairs at the Holy Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, emphasized the paramount importance of conveying the spiritual message of the Holy Mosques globally by bolstering the translation and languages program to encompass fifty languages.

This initiative aims to narrate the religious success stories of the Holy Mosques in global languages.
