The King Salman International Complex for Arabic Language successfully concluded its Arabic Language Month in Indonesia.
This significant event, spanning from January 7th to February 3rd, took place in the cities of Jakarta and Malang. It was a vibrant celebration of the Arabic language, aiming to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of this rich cultural heritage.

Throughout the month, a variety of training programs and scientific activities were conducted. The objective was not only to improve the teaching methodologies but also to significantly enhance the overall presence and understanding of the Arabic language in Indonesia.

A highlight of the month was the scientific competition focused on Arabic for non-native speakers in Indonesia. Categories included storytelling, recitation, and Arabic calligraphy, attracting a diverse range of talents. Impressively, 260 contestants representing 84 Indonesian universities showcased their skills, highlighting the widespread interest and proficiency in Arabic language among Indonesian students.

Training and Development
The complex organized four weeks of intensive teacher training programs. These courses also aimed at improving various aspects of the Arabic language, including listening, reading, speaking, and writing.
Discussion Sessions
Integral to the month’s activities were two discussion sessions. These sessions provided a platform for experts to discuss key issues such as effective assessment methods, strategies for teacher evaluation, the integration of technology in Arabic language teaching, and the creation of contemporary teaching materials and programs.
