Minister of Islamic Affairs Meets Syrian Amb. to KSA
Today, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh welcomed in his office the Syrian Ambassador to the Kingdom Mohamed Ayman Sousan, reported Saudi Press Agency.
The minister affirmed that the Kingdom works on all aspects that enhance the relationship of Muslims with their brothers, fosters bonds of love among them, and promotes moderation, tolerance, and mercy.
The Syrian Ambassador praised the significant steps taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in spreading the noble values of Islam and uniting Muslims.
He also highlighted the Kingdom’s efforts in serving the Two Holy Mosques, the sacred sites, and those who visit them, including pilgrims.
Saudi Aid to Syria
In line with its commitment to implementing humanitarian practices embodying the spirit of benevolence, Saudi Arabia is providing a range of training courses at the Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan.
These courses, which include sewing, embroidery, fashion design, computer and mobile phone maintenance, as well as intensive courses in pottery and handicrafts, are aimed at enhancing the skills of Syrian refugees.
Empowering Refugees through Vocational Training
Saudi Arabia’s initiative in Zaatari refugee camp offers vocational training, empowering Syrian refugees. Sewing, embroidery, and fashion design courses provide practical skills for employment.
These courses also help refugees build sustainable livelihoods, fostering self-reliance. Additionally, they offer a path to economic independence in challenging circumstances. Refugees can use these skills to start small businesses or find employment.
