Riyadh Season 2024: Global Tourists on Date with Largest Entertainment Events
Currently, the capital city of Riyadh is witnessing intense preparations for the launch of the 2024 Riyadh Season in its fifth edition on October 12. This year, the season will feature 14 zones hosting the largest winter entertainment events in the world, more than 11 global championships, along with 10 cultural festivals and exhibitions. Additionally, the season will unveil a wide range of top-tier international restaurants and a large number of unique entertainment experiences.
Fourth Crown Show
The new season kicks off with an exciting event that everyone is eagerly awaiting: the Fourth Crown Show, which will take place on the season’s opening day, October 12. The highlight of the event will be a decisive boxing match between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol.
The event will also feature entertaining and challenging matchups, with 14 fighters facing off in 7 thrilling bouts. Some of the key matchups include Shakur Stevenson vs. Joe Cordina, Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Kamil Szeremeta, Fabio Wardley vs. Frazer Clarke, Jai Opetaia vs. Jack Massey, Ben Whittaker vs. Liam Cameron, Skye Nicolson vs. Raven Chapman, and Mohamed Alkul vs. Jesus Gonzalez.
Riyadh Season
The 2024 Riyadh Season will also include the popular areas that have been highly successful in previous seasons, such as Boulevard City, which is the largest entertainment zone of the season. It features gardens, a dancing fountain, world-class gaming centers, and numerous local and international cafes and restaurants.
Additionally, it hosts stores from the most famous local and international brands, along with several theaters for hosting artistic and musical performances. Another highlight is Boulevard World which showcases the civilizations and cultures of the world. This season will include new countries and regions such as Saudi Arabia, Africa, Turkey, Iran, and others.
Boulevard World
The “Boulevard World” area is considered an ideal destination for family experiences, featuring 300 restaurants and cafes, 1,400 shops, and hosting 21 new events. Meanwhile, “Via Riyadh” offers a luxurious destination for art and fashion enthusiasts during the season, with the famous “Dior” exhibition being hosted in the historic Al Murabba district. Visitors will be able to explore 500 modern outfits and dresses from Dior’s iconic designs, along with unique experiences at the “Dior Café” and store, which reflect refined taste and a distinctive artistic ambiance.
“Saudi Winter 2024” Program
The Riyadh Season kicks off this year alongside the “Saudi Winter 2024” program, running from October to March 2025. The program highlights seven tourist destinations: Riyadh, Jeddah, AlUla, the Red Sea, the Eastern Province, Madinah, and Hail. It features over 1,000 activities and more than 20 new products, with events like Diriyah Season, Dakar Rally, MDLBEAST, and the Islamic Arts Biennale. Visitors can also enjoy hiking, camping, and caravanning in winter regions.
