The Qiwa platform, operated by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, has said that Premium Residency holders must obtain a dedicated work permit via the platform at a cost of SR100, according to the Saudi Gazette.
The platform noted that subscription fees vary depending on the size of each establishment and are determined by the total number of employees registered under the entity’s unified identification number.
Qiwa also revealed that users can document Tamheer program training contracts through the platform.
However, it also noted that training contracts are excluded from Saudization targets and do not meet current requirements for employment contract documentation.
Moreover, users can pay service fees using bank cards, SADAD payment numbers, or the Qiwa digital wallet.
As for resignations, employees may withdraw a resignation request within seven days, on condition that the employer has not accepted or deferred action on it during that period.
Qiwa said notice periods depend on the terms of each employment contract and can vary between employees.
The platform also mentioned that visa details cannot be modified after issuance. Any incorrect entries require cancellation of the visa and issuance of a new one with the correct data.
