In a stunning showcase of creativity and style, Riyadh Fashion Week 2024 (RFW 2024) is making a revolutionary change in the Saudi fashion landscape and furthering the Kingdom’s position in the global luxury market.
Running from October 17-21, 2024, the second season of Riyadh Fashion Week is featuring a lineup of local and international designers, who display their latest collections in star-studded runway shows across three venues: Tuwaiq Palace, Digital City, and JAX District.
RFW 2024: Unleashing Talent
With the participation of renowned designers, fashion enthusiasts, influencers and celebrities, the Riyadh Fashion Week 2024 kicked off with a dazzling opening ceremony.
The first day of the big event featured an amazing runway show for the prominent Saudi designer, Adnan Akbar. Akbar’s designs stole the spotlight with their unmatched elegance, reflecting diversity and talent.


The RFW 2024’s first day also featured a collection from the brilliant Tima Abid, inspired by her private garden. Her designs combined black, white and red, blending traditional heritage with contemporary trends, in a showcase of the unparalleled Saudi talent and innovation.

Moreover, the crowds were captivated by the designs of the famous Honayda, in a collection titled “Divas in Harmony” which combined elegance and modernity, according to Arab News. Her collection focused on empowering women, by highlighting the influence of female music icons such as Om Kalthom and Fairouz while mixing elements of Saudi culture in her designs.


Second Day of Innovation
The shows of creativity and talent continued through the second day of Riyadh Fashion Week. It featured stylish shows for the talented Waad Aloqaili, who displayed a collection of creative modern designs.


Additionally, Khawla Alaiban showcased her unique innovations in a collection that captured crowds with its designs that combined contemporary trends with traditional heritage.


The second day of RFW 2024 also featured runway shows for the innovative Atelier Hekayat and Yahya Al Bishri, whose collections shined with creativity and uniqueness on the catwalk.
Celebrities at the Front Row
The unique event has attracted a myriad of celebrities, dignitaries and renowned personalities, in addition to fashion influencers, designers and international media. The French Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Patrick Maisonneuve, was among attendance.
Furthermore, the Riyadh Fashion Week has caught the attention of the Editorial Director of the Women’s Wear Daily (WWD), James Fallon, and the Chief Marketing Officer of Condé Nast Italia, Francesca Airoldi, who were present at the opening day.

The front seats have also seen the attendance of celebrities, such as Saudi media icon Lojain Omran, Saudi media personality Sarah Murad, Thai actress Davika Hoorne, and the popular media personality, Georgina Rodriguz.

The event saw the participation of the Egyptian actress Nelly Karim, who walked on the runway showcasing an outstanding design for the Saudi designer, Honayda. Nelly appeared in a stunning black dress and a crown of red roses.
RFW Reshaping the Fashion Scene
The RFW 2024 is putting Saudi Arabia on the pathway to global leadership in the fashion industry, by empowering emerging Saudi talent, promoting the Kingdom’s heritage and cultural diversity and encouraging international collaboration.

The growing international interest in the Saudi fashion industry is paving the way for the Kingdom to further establish its status as a global key fashion hub. On this occasion, the CEO of the Saudi Fashion Commission, Burak Cakmak, said: “The opening day of Riyadh Fashion Week perfectly reflects our vision of establishing Saudi Arabia as a leading global hub for fashion and creativity.”
He added that the local and international talent displayed at the RFW “highlights the extraordinary potential of our homegrown designers. This event is not just about fashion—it’s a celebration of our culture and a testament to the Kingdom’s rising influence on the global stage,” according to List Magazine.
