Municipality of Al Qassim Concludes 445 Investment Contracts in 2023

The Municipality of Al Qassim Province concluded 445 investment contracts with various private sector establishments during the past year 2023, reported Saudi Press Agency.

These contracts span diverse fields targeted by the municipality to integrate with the private sector, aiming to develop and enhance services provided to beneficiaries in line with the objectives of improving the quality of life.

The Municipality of Al Qassim had offered 759 investment opportunities last year. The total value of contracts amounting to 336 million Saudi Riyals across the Al-Qassim region.

The investment activities of the municipality covered several areas, including health services, educational services, financial activities and shopping and entertainment activities. Moreover, it covered industrial activities, social activities, agricultural and animal activities, public services, and many other investment activities.

The Al Qassim Municipality also welcomes collaborative work with the private sector for the currently available opportunities. The opportunities can be explored through the Municipal Investment Platform (Furas).

The Al-Qassim Chamber of Commerce launched the “Commercial Franchise Forum in Buraidah.” Taking place at the Chamber’s headquarters in Buraidah, the forum saw participation from numerous business leaders and franchise owners.

The forum featured various specialized workshops and consultative sessions, complementing the ongoing efforts by “Monsha’at” to foster and develop this sector.

The event aimed to ensure the sustainability and prosperity of this industry. Consequently, this may generate numerous job opportunities and enhance the commercial and investment business environment.
