The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at) in partnership with the Saudi E-Commerce Council offers an important opportunity for entrepreneurs in the field of e-commerce in Saudi Arabia.

According to a senior official at the Authority, the effectiveness of Monsha’at has so far seen more than 3,500 visitors. It is worthy to note that Monsha’at organised an e-commerce tour event.

 Connecting Entrepreneurs

The e-commerce tour event and the Saudi E-Commerce Council has been a remarkable platform for entrepreneurs to showcase their business activities and connect with like-minded individuals. The tour has made stops in major cities such as Jeddah, Asir, Riyadh, and Madinah, attracting a diverse range of companies and organizations.

Over 46 entities have introduced their business activities during the tour, providing valuable insights into the e-commerce landscape in Saudi Arabia.

Workshops and Counseling Sessions

More than 1,000 people have attended the tour’s workshops, gaining valuable insights into various aspects of e-commerce, including digital marketing, logistics, and customer experience. Additionally, over 500 individuals have benefited from personalized counseling sessions, receiving guidance from experienced consultants to overcome challenges and optimize their e-commerce strategies.

 Geographical Location and Infrastructure

 

Saudi Arabia’s strategic geographical location plays a vital role in its e-commerce growth. The country’s central location in the Middle East allows efficient distribution and logistics, making it easier for entrepreneurs to deliver products to customers across the region. Additionally, Saudi Arabia has excellent communications infrastructure and mobile networks, ensuring seamless access to online stores and enabling a smooth shopping experience for consumers.

The tour will continue its journey to 10 more Saudi cities, including Jazan, Al-Ahsa, Khobar, Arar, Al-Qassim, Hail, Al-Jouf, Tabuk, Najran, and Al-Baha.

This extensive reach ensures that entrepreneurs from all corners of the country have the opportunity to participate and benefit from the e-commerce tour event.

Through Monsha’at workshops, counseling sessions, and specialized events on the Mazaya platform, entrepreneurs have gained valuable insights and enhanced their e-commerce strategies.
