The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) has entered into a cooperation agreement with the Heritage Commission aimed at integrating the crafts sector into the national industrial ecosystem and enhancing the economic empowerment of artisans.
The partnership focuses on developing high-quality craft products with strong market potential, linking artisans to MODON’s industrial cities and support services, and facilitating their participation in exhibitions and events to help transform traditional crafts into sustainable, market-ready products.
The agreement also emphasizes capacity building by offering specialized services and investment opportunities that support the long-term continuity of craft practices.
In addition, it provides access to industrial land and ready-built facilities, enabling artisans to launch and expand their activities efficiently and effectively.
