The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) has signed five new industrial contracts in the vital medical and pharmaceutical sectors, securing total local and international investments exceeding SAR 235 million.
The contracts were signed under the patronage of His Excellency Bandar Alkhorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and Chairman of MODON’s Board of Directors, during MODON’s participation in the Global Health Exhibition.
This step underscores MODON’s ongoing commitment to supporting high-quality industries and strengthening pharmaceutical security, in line with the National Industrial Strategy and Saudi Vision 2030. These efforts aim to enhance the industrial sector’s contribution to the national GDP, localize critical supply chains, and attract investments in high-value-added sectors such as healthcare and pharmaceuticals.
The agreements include the allocation of more than 46,500 square meters of industrial land across Jeddah’s First and Second Industrial Cities, Sudair City for Industry and Business, and Dammam’s Third Industrial City. Additionally, a 1,500-square-meter ready-built factory will be allocated at the Madinah Oasis in Jeddah.
