
Under the patronage of the Minister of Media, Mr. Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari, launched the initiative “Enhancing Communication with Residents,” one of the initiatives of the “Quality of Life” program aimed at achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
Global Harmony
The initiative, under the slogan “Global Harmony,” was launched in the presence of the Yemeni Minister of Media, Moammar Al-Eryani, the Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Dr. Abdullah Abuthnain, the CEO of the Quality of Life Program, Khaled Al-Bakr, along with 12 ambassadors and the head of a diplomatic mission, during a celebration organized by the ministry at the Movenpick Hotel and Residences in Riyadh.
The initiative at Al-Suwaidi Park, part of Riyadh Season, aims to highlight expatriates’ lives in the Kingdom, including their work, family, social, and recreational activities. It will showcase their contributions to the economy, success stories, cultural diversity, and how they integrate with Saudi society. Additionally, it will focus on government and private sector efforts to improve quality of life in Saudi cities.
The initiative highlights social and entertainment activities during Riyadh Season through a partnership between the Ministry of Information and the General Entertainment Authority. It also focuses on nine cultures from India, the Philippines, Indonesia, Pakistan, Yemen, Sudan, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Bangladesh, and Egypt. Moreover, it features concerts, street performances, cultural entertainment, traditional foods, and handicrafts, with participation from citizens and residents of various nationalities.
The initiative shows the Kingdom’s appreciation for expatriates from diverse nationalities and cultures, recognizing their contributions to development. It also aims to introduce citizens, residents, and visitors to the heritage and culture of the featured countries.
