The Ministries of Culture and Education in Saudi Arabia have announced the launch of the second edition of the “Cultural Skills Competition.”

In addition, the second season of the competition unfolds with ten cultural streams, encompassing a wide range of sectors such as painting, calligraphy, filmmaking, photography, music, singing, short stories, manga, poetry, and theater. This broad spectrum does not only offer a comprehensive cultural landscape but also nurtures the multifaceted talents of general education students.

Additionally, The competition begins with on-field preparation and the identification of creative talents among students. The subsequent phase is remote training, where these talents are honed with essential skills and knowledge. The process culminates in a talent development camp, moving towards the final adjudication stage and ultimately, the final presentations in the closing ceremony.

Furthermore, the competition aims to discover and develop students’ skills in cultural and artistic fields. It serves as a platform for guiding their endeavors, preserving the cultural heritage of the Kingdom, and enhancing awareness. Over 100 experts participate in the judging panel, ensuring a comprehensive and fair evaluation.

The Ministries of Culture and Education have allocated an impressive array of prizes, totaling over nine million Saudi Riyals. Winners in each competition track and from each educational stage are awarded substantial amounts, with the first, second, and third places receiving 100,000, 75,000, and 50,000 Riyals respectively.

Also, the competition emerges from a joint “Cultural Capacities Development Strategy” by the Ministries of Culture and Education. Consequently, it aims to strengthen students’ cultural ties and artistic skills.
