KSrelief Implements Hayat Project in Turkiye

The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid (KSrelief) implemented the Saudi voluntary project “Hayat” in the city of Reyhanli, in Turkiye, to assist the earthquake victims in Syria and Turkey, reported Saudi Press Agency.
This initiative took place from December 26 to December 31, 2023.
During the campaign, the center’s volunteer medical team examined 319 cases and successfully performed 17 urological surgeries, all of which were successful.
This effort is part of the Kingdom’s relief, humanitarian, and voluntary projects for a number of brotherly and countries.
KSrelief in Sudan
KSrelief signed a joint cooperation agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), reported Akhbar24.
The agreement aims to provide shelter assistance and non-food items to the displaced and returnees in Sudan, South Sudan, and Chad for the year 2024, at a cost of 6 million dollars.
According to the agreement, 15,000 non-food aid items will be distributed in Sudan, 4,000 shelter aids in Chad, and 2,000 non-food aids in South Sudan. Therefore, it will benefit more than 100,000 individuals.
This comes as part of the humanitarian and relief efforts provided by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm to assist refugees in various locations without discrimination.
Al-Amal Charitable Bakery
Moreover, the (KSrelief) continues the implementation of the Al-Amal Charitable Bakery project, according to SPA. The project entered its fourth phase in 2023, in Akkar Governorate and Al-Miniyeh District in Lebanon.
The project distributed 150,000 loaves of bread daily to needy families, including Syrians, Palestinians. Consequently, 125,000 individuals benefitted from the project.
This comes within the framework of the Kingdom’s humanitarian and relief efforts through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to assist refugees.
Date Distribution in Yemen
The centre also distributed more than 1,800 cartons of dates in Al-Madinah District, Ma’rib Governorate, benefiting 49,000 displaced individuals. This is part of the date distribution project in Yemen.
